Team 1680 A consists of eight people.  The team includes  James M (captain), Nicholas (co-captain), Sarah V, James V, Jacob, Matthew, Sarah D, and Morgan.  1680 A's robot is a simple yet effective design.  Most of the time the robot is made to play offense, but it can also play defense if needed by getting in the opponent's way.  It uses elevator gears to lift, but uses a chain and sprocket to pick up tubes and score them onto goals.
